Melissa Foster Passionate Romance for Fiercely Loyal Hearts

Today I was a featured speaker at the Gaithersburg Book Festival. It was a glorious morning with a gentle breeze, and the sun kissing the tips of the tents.

The GBF staff was professional, friendly, and supremely organized. I have been to many book festivals over the last couple of years, and GBF definitely takes the cake. The program ran smooth as butter.

Garine Boyajian Isassi, a new member of the World Literary Cafe private writers' group (open to all writers – click over and request an invitation!), and a volunteer at the event, was the first to welcome me. After being escorted to the tent where I spoke about writing, and my books, I was escorted to the book signing tent. I was excited to meet so many lovely people, and you can imagine my surprise when author Tia Silverthorne Bach and book blogger Kristin Durham showed up! I was also lucky enough to meet author Anora McGaha, who  came up from North Carolina.

Hats off to the Gaithersburg Book Festival staff, and to all those that came out to enjoy the event. What a day!
