The Next Novel!

I'm often asked what my next novel will be. Answering that question is interesting, and sometimes difficult. I have written seven chapters of what I anticipate to be my next novel, Come Back To Me, but I have another story nagging to be written! I am never quite sure if the current story I am working on is going to be my next, or if it will be pushed aside by more aggressive characters who just cannot wait to be heard. Sound silly? Maybe it does sound silly to someone who doesn't write, but to me it is normal. The Knowing, which is my second novel, started out as my first. I had completed the first draft when Megan appeared in my head and refused to leave until her story was told. Characters are complex creatures--though not tangible, they are very much alive, and need to be heard.
