Morning Madness

I LOVE mornings! There's something about knowing that there's a blank-slate of a day ahead of me that makes me smile. It doesn't matter if I have fifteen items on my to-do list or if I've got nothing to do but write - I just love that feeling of newness!

Mornings offer new beginnings, and the tone for the day is often set in the morning. Some people say they are not morning people. I'm not always sure what that means. It takes them a little longer to wake up? They can't function in the morning? Hmmm..That's food for thought. When does the tone of the day get set for those non-morning people? In the afternoon, when half of the day has already passed them by? If so, that makes me sad for them. There's so much glorious day behind you at that point- sunshine, rain, snow - whatever it might have been is gone, never to return.
