Before today, I hadn't been aware of this amazing reader site, Indie Reader

I can't even say that I found it today, because I've been so wrapped up in rewrites and preparing for the launch of COME BACK TO ME, my third book, that I haven't had time to poke around on the internet just for fun.

I was notified that my book, CHASING AMANDA made their list by Amy, a wonderfully friendly woman who works for Indie Reader. What list? I had no idea either. I'll tell you which list, THE LIST WHERE INDIES COUNT.

I clicked immediately on the link Amy sent and voila! There was my book cover for CHASING AMANDA, staring back at me from a line of bestselling books written by New York Times bestselling authors such as CJ Lyons, Darcie Chan, and Chris Culver. I am honored to be among such great writers.

Unlike The New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists, IR’s “List Where Indies Count” does not include books that have been previously traditionally published.  While they acknowledge that those authors often update and expand their book’s contents, they believe that having been traditionally pubbed gives those books an edge over their “indie-only” brethren. This is IndieReader’s 21st consecutive indie best seller list, updated weekly and including the top selling indie titles—in all formats—as determined by sources including Amazon, The New York Times, B&N.com and USA Today.

Yes, it took a moment for me to gather my jaw from the floor, but then, I began clicking around this wonderful site. They offer book reviews, interesting articles, and I even found this incredibly cool contest that I didn't know existed.

The IR Discovery Awards!

Do yourself a favor, spend a few minutes on IndieReader's site. See how much fun you have!

Thank you, Amy, for introducing me to another site to add to my favorites list!
